Before 2006 fades away...

This took place at the beginning of this year.
but it feels light years away...
like a beautiful dream...that doesn't seem very real.

不存在. 不相信..... ?

ZoukOut 2006 >

"ooi, I can't pay you much, but you get a chance to talk to bikini babes and world famous DJs. How? you interested?" queried my fun-but-not-so-financially-well-off-friend.

If someone asks you whether you'll be interested in getting paid to walk right up to hot chicks (losing their minds to hot beats) and get them to do your bidding (for the camera), will you say YES?

In addition to coming face-to-face with world-class clubbing acts, it was also a gorgeous opportunity to beef up my interviewing skills.

So of course I said YESSSS!
-------------------------------
Attached to the VOXPOP gang of the 4-team crew tasked to cover the highlights of one of the largest beach parties of the world, I helped my friend's video crew interview the key people of Zoukout 2006, from the performers to the party-people.

DJ Pippi, Aldrin, Jazzy Jeff...the Cuban Brothers...Futon..
[Yea, I'm name-dropping here.] I spoke to them, interviewed them for IDPmedia.com, and I shook their hands *big smile*.

Some quick snap-shots with these dudes would have been lovely but they had sets to spin, and we had babes to film.....
There was too much to do at the throbbing scene of Zoukout 2006 :P

So, I'll have to make do with a snap-shot of my neon-green crew wrist tag, and a snappie of the IDPmedia crew tee.

A special shout-out to:
Angel, Joshua, and Warren >> The Voxpop Hustlers!

[Allo, faster pitch and edit the Zoukout documentary can??????]

And Of Course, the IDP Intenso-mojo-mesh-bunch

By the way, my little bundle of joy helped revamp their website recently. So if you're reading this, drop by and check out who shoots the bulk of Zouk's event videos.

If you want avant-garde spelt backwards, saturated with glorious colour and dipped in funky beats, they are the peoplez to lookiz foriz.

Translation: Want kool video, pergi IDPmedia.com sana lah, kawan.

Good Morning Singapore 早安您好

Ye Tong was in Singapore to be part of a star-studded jury tasked to judge the best pieces in the Asian Festival of First Films.

It was my great fortune and honour to be able to invite her onto the particular episode of the morning show which I produced. Her grace and elegance will be deeply etched in my memories.

The 1st of Dec 2006 show which Ye Tong appeared on was quite a feast. Ms Z. Tay also appeared on the show to promote her latest drama series "A Million Treasures."

The interns who were there merrily grabbed the opportunity to have a photo taken with the Queen of Caldecott Hill.

Freelancing for the Big M's Chinese Friday morning show has been quite interesting,
to say the least.
